Lewisham and Greenwich Conservatives have selected Kieran Terry as the new Conservative London Assembly Candidate for Greenwich and Lewisham.
Kieran was chosen by Conservative Party members from both boroughs at the selection meeting today (Thursday 22nd June 2023).
Kieran is a Chartered Accountant and has lived in South East London for more than a decade.
A former South East London Conservative councillor and school governor, he has a long-standing record as a campaigner standing up for residents and working hard on local issues.
Kieran Terry, Conservative Assembly Candidate for Greenwich and Lewisham, said:
I am absolutely delighted to be selected as the Conservative candidate for Greenwich and Lewisham for the 2024 London Assembly election. The campaign starts here - I'm really looking forward to meeting residents across both boroughs over the forthcoming months and discussing their priorities for London.
I am particularly keen to tackle some of the transport and crime related issues residents have been raising with us. The government has given London enough funding for an extra 3,000 police officers and it’s vital Greenwich and Lewisham get their fair share of these. We must also hold Transport for London to account for their poor road maintenance and continue to lobby Southeastern to restore local train services."
