On that grim second anniversary, Ukrainian diaspora in the UK and supporters of Ukraine gathered on the Trafalgar Square to thank the British government for the unwavering support of the Ukrainian fight for freedom and independence.
The speakers at the meeting called specifically for more supplies of ammunition and fighter jets so that Ukraine can defend itself against the barbaric invasion.
In this context, the London Mayor Sadiq Khan was also mentioned. Paramedics from the front line who travelled to London to rally the support for Ukraine were invited to speak at the meeting.
