I wanted to write to you all to introduce myself and say how honoured and excited I am to be your parliamentary candidate for Lewisham West and East Dulwich. As some of you may know I was the latest GLA candidate for Lambeth and Southwark which included East Dulwich, and I am looking forward to bringing the same energy to this campaign.
I worked in Westminster as Chief of Staff to Andrew Selous, the Member of Parliament for South West Bedfordshire, the Second Church Estates Commissioner and the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy for South Africa and Mauritius up until the point of dissolution.
During my time with Andrew I worked on the Ministry of Defence commissioned report ‘Living in Our Shoes’ which focused on Armed Forces families and advised on the recent Archbishops’ Families Commission report on families. I am also the Secretariat of the All-Party Group on Relationships and a volunteer at a youth charity that spans over Lambeth and Southwark and ran a half-marathon last year to raise money for the charity. Before my time with Andrew Selous , I worked for Ben Wallace MP and Victoria Prentis MP.
I have also worked in the hospitality industry and is currently an advisory director of a wine company. I studied Politics and International Relations at university specialising in cyber and completed an internship at First Group in Cincinnati, USA. This summer I was selected for Oxford University’s ‘Future Leaders’ programme with a full scholarship.
To date I have worked on three leadership campaign teams, five current cabinet ministers’ general election teams, four MP teams and countless councillors. In addition, to my role as editor and digital campaign advisor at Digital Tories I worked with candidates on their digital campaign strategies.
I look forward to meeting many of you over the campaign trail.
